“On paper, this looks like a smash of variety and a big old circus of flavour and colour. In the glass it’s a super pretty apricot pink, with a nose that speaks as much of rose florals as it does plump citrus pith and tropical fruits. Guava is dropped in the tasting note, and it’s impossible not to see it here. I’m also getting height-of-the-season mandarin, raspberry (from the grenache?) and an apple-y character that sits really well with the leesy creaminess. There’s actually a little hint of phenolic hardness on the palate which keeps things engaging and is a yin to the yang. Apart from the super interesting nose, soft mouthfeel, and abundantly generous fruit on the palate – I love the acid… it is taught and zingy and whips everything up into a tight little package.
